A load cell is a transducer that is used to create an electrical signal whose magnitude is directly proportional to the force being measured. The various types of load cells include hydraulic load cells, pneumatic load cells and strain gauge load cells.

The 20A Range Current Sensor Module ACS712 consists of a precise, low-offset, linear Hall circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the die. Applied current flowing through this copper conduction path generates a magnetic field in which the Hall IC converts into a proportional voltage.
Sensing and controlling current flow is a fundamental requirement in a wide variety of applications including, over-current protection circuits, battery chargers, switching mode power supplies, digital watt meters, programmable current sources, etc.

This MPR121 is a capacitive touch sensor controller driven by an I2C interface. The chip can control up to twelve individual electrodes, as well as a simulated thirteenth electrode The MPR121 also features eight LED driving… pins, when these pins are not configured as electrodes, they may be used to drive LEDs.There a four jumpers on the bottom of the board, all of which are set (closed) by default. In most of the IoT devices and Battery Management Systems, measuring how much current is flowing in the circuit is paramount. It decides the capacity of the battery to be used and predict the run time of the battery pack. It is also crucial in the design of safety systems or any circuit to ensure the correct rating of the components is selected. The ACS712-5A Current Sensor Module is a Hall Effect based sensor module to determine the current flowing in a given line. It can measure both AC and DC current up to 5A in both directions. Its output when no current is flowing through it is 2.5V and its scale factor is 185mV/A i.e. if 2A current is flowing through it, then its output will be 2.87V.
The output becomes zero if the max 5A current flows in the reverse direction and if 5A flows in the forward direction, the output will tend to 5V. It also provides isolation from the load as it is Hall Effect Based sensor, so you don’t need to worry about putting an extra load in the circuit to measure current. You should select the current sensor module according to the maximum current you want to measure. You can also check the 20A Current Sensor and 30A Current Sensor.
SPECIFICATIONS
To connect ACS712 Current Measuring Module, you need to first power it with a 5V power supply either from a battery or your controller like Arduino. Connect the sensor in series with the line carrying the current you want to measure. The output of this module is Analog, so you need to connect to ADC pins of the controller. Read the voltage and convert it into the current by using the formula.

Thermocouples have been around forever and are a great way to measure temperature. They have a very large range, are robust and come in all kinds of lengths, varying tip configurations, and variety sheaths.
The challenge with using thermocouples is with the need for what is known as cold junction compensation and the need to detect a very small voltage change for every degree in a change of temperature.
Fortunately, there are chips like the MAX6675 that make connecting a thermocouple to your Arduino an affordable breeze. The device measures the output of a K Thermocouple and provides the result to the Arduino via an SPI interface.
The MAX6675 Thermocouple Sensor Module makes use of the Maxim MAX6675 K-Thermocouple to digital converter IC to provide a microcontroller compatible digital serial interface (SPI compatible) to provide accurate temperature-compensated measurement of the supplied K-Type thermocouple sensor.
The data is output in a 12-bit resolution, SPI compatible, read-only format. MAX6675 converter resolves temperatures to 0.25C, allows readings as high as +1024C, and exhibits thermocouple accuracy of 8 LSBs for temperatures ranging from 0C to +700C.

Max6675 Schematic: Important Note:Most K thermocouples come with a red lead and a yellow lead. The red lead is normally your negative connection and the yellow lead is your positive. That is the industry standard. That said, some of the suppliers for the module will, in fact, jack this up and provide you with a thermocouple with red indicating positive. The way to know is if you increase the temperature at the thermocouple tip and the indication goes lower.

The TCS3200 Color Recognition Sensor Module uses a high-quality light sensor allowing you to sense any color through a combination of Red, Green, and Blue. The module provides all of the pins of the TCS3200 on convenient 0.1″ headers – ideal for use with PCBs, breadboard or stripboard.
Four white LEDs provide plenty of light for the color sensor and allow you to use the module in any ambient light.
The module requires only a single supply voltage between 2.7V and 5.5V – making it compatible with nearly all common microcontrollers, including PICs, AVRs, ARM, Arduino and more.

DHT11 is a Humidity and Temperature Sensor, which generates calibrated digital output. DHT11 can be interface with any microcontroller like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc. and get instantaneous results. DHT11 is a low cost humidity and temperature sensor which provides high reliability and long term stability.
It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air, and outputs a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed). Its very simple to use, and libraries and sample codes are available for Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

DHT22/AM2302 Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air and spits out a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed).
It’s fairly simple to use but requires careful timing to grab data. The only real downside of this sensor is you can only get new data from it once every 2 seconds, so sensor readings can be up to 2 seconds old. Simply connect the first pin on the left to 3-5V power, the second pin to your data input pin, and the rightmost pin to the ground. Although it uses a single wire to send data it is not Dallas One Wire compatible! If you want multiple sensors, each one must have its own data pin!

But instead of sniffing the blackbody radiation from a moving person, this sensor uses a microwave Doppler radar technique to detect moving objects. It has a sensitivity range of ~7 meters. When triggered, its TTL-level output (OUT) pin will switch from LOW (0 V) to HIGH (3.3 V) for a finite time (2 to 3 s) before returning to its idle (LOW) state.
This flexible sensor module can easily be used in conjunction with many microcontrollers and even without a microcontroller at all. It can handle power supply inputs anywhere from 4 to 28 V.

GY-53 VL53L0X Laser ToF Flight Time Ranging Sensor Module can be used for easy integration into your devices and basic gesture detection applications. Thanks to its 2.8V regulator and level shifters, the VL53L0X satellite board can be used in any application with a 2.8 to 5V supply.
The VL53L0X is a Time of Flight distance sensor like no other you’ve used! The sensor contains a very tiny invisible laser source and a matching sensor. The VL53L0X can detect the “time of flight”, or how long the light has taken to bounce back to the sensor. Since it uses a very narrow light source, it is good for determining the distance of only the surface directly in front of it.
Unlike sonars that bounce ultrasonic waves, the ‘cone’ of sense is very narrow. Unlike IR distance sensors that try to measure the amount of light bounced, the VL53L0x is much more precise and doesn’t have linearity problems or ‘double imaging’ where you can’t tell if an object is very far or very close.
The PCB section supporting the VL53L0X module is perforated so that developers can break off the mini PCB for use in a 2.8V supply application using flying leads. This makes it easier to integrate into development and evaluation devices due to its small form factor.
The module is designed for low-power operation. Ranging measurements can be automatically performed at user-defined intervals. Multiple thresholds and interrupt schemes are supported to minimize host operations. Serial port and PWM to read the data code: STM32, Arduino, 51 MCU.
Note that due to the infrared will be affected by the outside light, in the light will affect the maximum range of measurement, will not affect the measurement accuracy. Default configuration: serial baud rate 9600, automatic output, high precision mode. When using, please remove the sensor film.
VL53L0X Overview:The VL53L0X is the latest product based on ST’s patented FlightSense™ technology. This is a ground-breaking technology allowing absolute distance to be measured independent of target reflectance. Instead of estimating the distance by measuring the amount of light reflected back from the object (which is significantly influenced by color and surface), the VL53L0X precisely measures the time the light takes to travel to the nearest object and reflect back to the sensor (Time-of-Flight). Combining an IR emitter and a range sensor, the VL53L0X is easy to integrate and saves OEMs long and costly optical and mechanical design optimizations.
Note: The VL53L0X is delivered with a liner, in order to prevent potential foreign material to penetrate inside the modules holes during the assembly process. It must be removed at the latest possible step during final assembly, and anyway before module calibration.

MQ 8 Gas sensor is another one of Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) type Gas Sensor of MQ Gas Sensors family involving MQ 2, MQ 4, MQ 3, MQ 7, MQ 135, etc. It is mainly used as a Hydrogen detects. This sensor contains a sensing element, mainly aluminum-oxide based ceramic, coated with Tin dioxide (SnO2), enclosed in a stainless-steel mesh. Whenever H2 gas comes into contact with the sensing element, the resistivity of the element changes. The change is then measured to get the concentration of the gases present. This hydrogen sensor has a small heating element present, which is needed to preheat the sensor to get it in the working window. It can detect the H2 gas in the concentration range of 100 to 1000ppm. As H2 gas is extremely flammable, its leakage in the industry can be very hazardous with loss of property and life as it is used very commonly in cooling applications.
To use the Sensor Module, you have to power the device with 5V supply and the Power LED will start to glow. To power it, you can use external supply or connect +5V and GND pin of Arduino. You should give it some preheating time before start reading the output. While measuring the gas present, the Output LED will glow in a specific concentration of the gas. You can change it by using the potentiometer.

This IR reflective sensor Module used TCRT5000 IR Sensor to detect colour and distance. This sensor module consists on an IR transmitter & an IR receiver. IR Transmitter continuously emits IR signal which is then reflected by an obstacle and is then detected by the IR receiver. TCRT5000 Infrared Reflective Sensor Module is often used in line following robots,object sorting Robot because this module can sense if a surface is white or black. The measuring distance range from 1mm to 8mm, and the central point is about 2.5mm. There is also an on-board potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity. The infrared diode will emitting the infrared continually when the module is powered ON, when the emitted infrared light has not been reflected or the strength is not big enough,the receiver diode will in the off state and output pin i.e. DO will be LOW.

This BMP280 is a cheapest and tiny Atmospheric Sensor Breakout to measure barometric pressure, and temperature readings all without taking up too much space. Basically, anything you need to know about atmospheric conditions you can find out from this tiny breakout. The BMP280 Breakout has been design to be used in indoor/outdoor navigation, weather forecasting, home automation, and even personal health and wellness monitoring.
This module uses an environmental sensor manufactured by Bosch with temperature, barometric pressure sensor that is the next generation upgrade to the popular BMP085/BMP180/BMP183 Sensor. This sensor is great for all sorts of weather sensing and can even be used in both I2C and SPI! This precision sensor from Bosch is the best low-cost, precision sensing solution for measuring barometric pressure with ±1 hPa absolute accuraccy, and temperature with ±1.0°C accuracy. Because pressure changes with altitude, and the pressure measurements are so good, you can also use it as an altimeter with ±1 meter accuracy.
The BMP280 is the next-generation of sensors, and is the upgrade to the BMP085/BMP180/BMP183 - with a low altitude noise of 0.25m and the same fast conversion time. It has the same specifications, but can use either I2C or SPI. For simple easy wiring, go with I2C. If you want to connect a bunch of sensors without worrying about I2C address collisions, go with SPI.

BMP180 Sensor is an extremely precise low cost sensor from Bosch for measuring barometric pressure and temperature. Because pressure changes with altitude you can also use it as an altimeter! The sensor is soldered onto a PCB with a 3.3V regulator, I2C level shifter and pull-up resistors on the I2C pins. It is completely identical to the BMP085 in terms of firmware/software.

The VL53L0X is a time-of-flight ranging system integrated into a compact module. The VL53L0 uses ST’s FlightSense technology to precisely measure how long it takes for emitted pulses of infrared laser light to reach the nearest object and be reflected back to a detector, so it can be considered a tiny, self-contained lidar system. This time-of-flight (TOF) measurement enables it to accurately determine the absolute distance to a target without the object’s reflectance greatly influencing the measurement. The sensor can report distances of up to 2 m (6.6 ft) with 1 mm resolution, but its effective range and accuracy (noise) depend heavily on ambient conditions and target characteristics like reflectance and size, as well as the sensor configuration. (The sensor’s accuracy is specified to range from ±3% at best to over ±10% in less optimal conditions.)
Ranging measurements are available through the sensor’s I2C (TWI) interface, which is also used to configure sensor settings, and the sensor provides two additional pins: a shutdown input and an interrupt output.
The VL53L0X is a great IC, but its small, lead less, LGA package makes it difficult for the typical student or hobbyist to use. It also operates at a recommended voltage of 2.8 V, which can make interfacing difficult for micro controllers operating at 3.3 V or 5 V. Our breakout board addresses these issues, making it easier to get started using the sensor, while keeping the overall size as small as possible.
