The NRF24L01 module is the latest in RF modules. This module uses the 2.4GHz transceiver from Nordic Semiconductor, the NRF24L01+. This transceiver IC operates in the 2.4GHz band and has many new features! Take all the coolness of the 2.4GHz NRF24L01+PA+LNA SMA Wireless Transceiver Antenna and add some extra pipelines, buffers, and an auto-retransmit feature – very nice!

This board features a reverse polarized SMA connector for maximum RF range. And there is PA and LNA circuit on board, with the external antenna it can reach long distance than the one without these parts.

This module comes with the 2.4G antenna (2DB), with a 250Kbps transmission rate on open-air it can reach the 800-1K meters communication distance.

This wireless Transceiver module is an easy and suitable module if you want to set up your wireless communication system at a low cost!! It can achieve a good balance between wireless transition performance and cost!

The NEO-6MV2 is a stand-alone GPS (Global Positioning System) module featuring a high-performance 50 channel U-Blox 6 positioning engine. The NEO6MV2 GPS module checks for location on Earth and provides the Latitude and Longitude of the position it is in. This is a low-cost module with a detachable antenna, which also comes with a logic level converter and a voltage regulator, which makes it compatible with both 5V and 3.3V powered boards like Arduino Uno, Mega, Pro Mini, etc. It can be used in the Navigation Systems of Smartphones and Tablets, Drones, in location-based services, etc.

MQ-4 High Sensitivity Gas Methane (CNG) Detector Sensor Module

If you want to detect methane gases with your projects, you will need sensors. If you need any data on the sensitive material then, the MQ-4 High Sensitivity Gas Methane (CNG) Detector Gas Sensor Module is a quite good solution.

This is a simple to use MQ-4 High Sensitivity Gas Methane (CNG) Detector Sensor Module which can sense the presence of Compressed Natural Gas(CNG), methane(CH4), etc in the air. The module uses our MQ-4 sensor. It simplifies the interface to the odd pin spacing of the sensor and provides the interface through standard 4 x 0.1″ header pins.

It provides an analog output corresponding to the concentration of the gases in the air and an easy-to-use digital output. The onboard potentiometer can be used to set the maximum gas concentration beyond which the digital output gets triggered. The MQ-4 can detect natural gas concentrations anywhere from 200 to 10000ppm.

Just power the module with 5V set the threshold and you can start getting the gas concentration of the air around the sensor! An onboard LED signals the presence of any gas.

The digital output can be easily interfaced with microcontrollers and other circuits. The analog output can be hooked up to an ADC of a microcontroller to get a wide range of sensor readings. This is a simple-to-use compressed natural gas (CNG) sensor, suitable for sensing natural gas (composed of mostly Methane [CH4]) concentrations in the air.

The SIM800A Quad-Band GSM/GPRS Module with RS232 Interface is a complete Quad-band GSM/GPRS solution in an LGA(Land grid array) type which can be embedded in the customer applications. SIM800A support Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, it can transmit Voice, SMS and data information with low power consumption.

 

 

With a tiny size, it can fit into slim and compact demands of custom design. Featuring and Embedded AT, it allows total cost savings and fast time-to-market for customer applications.

The SIM800A modem has a SIM800A GSM chip and RS232 interface while enables easy connection with the computer or laptop using the USB to the Serial connector or to the micro-controller using the RS232 to TTL converter. Once you connect the SIM800A modem using the USB to RS232 connector, you need to find the correct COM port from the Device Manager of the USB to Serial Adapter.

Then you can open Putty or any other terminal software and open a connection to that COM port at 9600 baud rate, which is the default baud rate of this modem. Once a serial connection is open through the computer or your micro-controller you can start sending the AT commands. When you send AT commands for example “AT\r” you should receive back a reply from the SIM800A modem saying “OK” or other response depending on the command sent.
